Computers and the Internet have made communication so easy that the whole world has become a village, a global village. Now everyone can grow their knowledge by accessing information from around the world, all in one place. The Internet is a global system in which hundreds of millions of computers are interconnected and they are always connected.
Consider the Facts
The Internet is the result of the efforts of some of America’s most visionary people in the 60’s, who believed that the information needed in the field of computer research, science and military information could be transmitted from one computer to another. In 1962, MIT-affiliated JCR Lake Lieder first proposed the Global Computer Network, and the same year a new organization started work on the project as head of the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA).
An Objective View
Leonard Klein Rock of MIT and later UCLA developed the “Packet Switching Theory”, which was to serve as the cornerstone of the Internet connection. In 1965 Lawrence Roberts of the MIT connected a computer to the Massachusetts Institute of California through a dial-up telephone line. This proved that it is possible to build a Wide Area Network as well as make it clear that telephone line circuit switching is insufficient for this task. It turns out that Clean Rock’s packet theory is just right. The first e-mail was sent in 1972, and the same year a telenet protocol was created that enabled remote logging of the computer. This protocol was called Request for Comments (RFC). The RFC is the only means by which the development work can be shared with its community. It was only in 1972 that the FTP protocol was created, which made it possible to transfer files to Internet sites simultaneously.
Search engine optimization (SEO)
Although the origins of computers began even before 1976, when Bill Gates and Paul Allen founded Microsoft Company in 1977, the Internet gained increasing popularity worldwide. The last word, the top level domain (TLD), is particularly important in the address of any website on the Internet. TLD is of great importance in terms of search engine optimization (SEO). It depends on TLD how important your site is to the search engine, the more powerful the domain name, the more popular the website will be. For example, when someone searches for something on a search engine, if your domain name is on a service, your site will immediately appear in search. TLD takes a lot of work for website success and advertising. The top-level domain words International Corporation for Numbers and Semi-Allot, which include NetCom, ORG, EDU, GOV, MIL, and many more words. Of these, the EDU (Education), the GoV (Government) and the MIL (Military) are specific only to governments and institutions, while the other top-level domain has access to each individual.
Use of Cyberspace
In today’s modern age, the use of cyberspace has become commonplace, from the Internet to business to education. On the other hand, the world is now compulsorily out of computer sets, laptops and even now mobiles have very low internet rates and ease.
The use of search engines is crucial to finding anything on the Internet. Google is one of the most important search engines in the world. Google has a variety of world languages available on the site, which allows Google to search in English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, German, Urdu and Punjabi as well. With this search engine, computer users can easily perform their search process in most of the languages used in the world. Apart from Google, a few other search engines are also worth mentioning in terms of usage, such as MSN, Yahoo, Safari, MozillaLikeus and others.
